1. Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Dialect Agency Inc. By downloading, subscribing to, accessing, or using Super Simple Contacts, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement in your location. If you use the app for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. App license
Super Simple Contacts is licensed, not sold. Your license to use the app is subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. If these terms conflict with Apple’s mandatory terms, Apple’s terms control to the extent of that conflict.
Subject to these terms and your active subscription or trial, Dialect Agency Inc. grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Super Simple Contacts on supported Apple devices associated with your Apple Account as permitted by Apple’s usage rules.
3. Accounts and authorization
You may authorize the app to access Apple Contacts and connect Google or Microsoft accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of those accounts, using accounts you are authorized to access, and complying with provider terms.
The app is designed to show account ownership, queue outgoing changes, and support review before publishing. You remain responsible for reviewing edits, sync choices, imports, exports, deletions, and duplicate decisions.
4. Trial, subscriptions, and billing
Super Simple Contacts offers a 14-day free trial followed by an auto-renewable monthly or annual subscription for eligible customers.
- The current planned prices are $2.99 per month or $12.99 per year. The price and currency displayed by the App Store at purchase are controlling and may include applicable taxes.
- Trial eligibility is determined through Apple’s systems. Unless canceled, the subscription begins when the trial ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple under App Store policies and applicable law.
One subscription unlocks the supported Mac, iPhone, and iPad versions associated with the same purchase entitlement. We may change future pricing or plan availability through App Store Connect, subject to Apple’s notice and consent requirements and applicable law.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its security, use it to access an account without authorization, attempt to bypass subscription controls, or use it in violation of law or another person’s rights.
Contacts can contain important personal and business information. Keep appropriate backups, review changes before syncing, protect exported files, and verify critical information before relying on it. The app is a contact manager, not an emergency, medical, legal, financial, or identity-verification service.
6. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Raycast, and Alfred
The app interoperates with services and software provided by third parties. Their availability, APIs, account rules, security, and performance are outside our control. Changes by a provider may require us to modify, suspend, or discontinue an integration.
Apple, Google, Microsoft, Raycast, and Alfred are not sponsors of Super Simple Contacts. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.
7. Ownership
You retain your rights in your contact content. These terms do not transfer ownership of your address book to Dialect Agency Inc.
Super Simple Contacts, its design, software, website, branding, and documentation are owned by Dialect Agency Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these terms and Apple’s applicable license.
8. Availability and changes
We may update the app, add or remove capabilities, change compatibility, or discontinue all or part of the product. We aim to preserve local data and communicate material changes when reasonable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
Provider outages, operating-system changes, network conditions, account restrictions, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available.” Dialect Agency Inc. disclaims warranties not expressly required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dialect Agency Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunity arising from the app or these terms. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The Apple Standard EULA also contains warranty and liability terms that apply to the licensed app.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Canceling a subscription prevents future renewal but does not necessarily create a refund for the current period.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security threats, fraud, material breach of these terms, or discontinuation of the product. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Dialect Agency Inc., without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your residence or another mandatory consumer law applies. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect product, business, or legal changes. We will post revised terms here and update the effective date. If a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide it as required by law.
